1st April - 10th April - Forthside Boxing to be closed for Extreme event

From the 5th to 9th of April watch and take part in a series of extreme events including Parkour, extreme unicycle tricks, BMX demos, breakdancing and streetball. Enthusiasts can bring their own skateboards and bikes to show off their fearless skills in the temporary indoor skatepark.

06th Feb - Michael Blackburn to fight again.

Michael is fighting in Kilwinning on Saturday 10th Feb against Jamie Nolan who he recorded a victory over last year.

Michael will also be fighting at the Sparta show to be held on Sunday 25th Feb at the Hibernian FC Supporters Club (Sunnyside). Michael is stepping up in weight from 64Kg to face the current 69Kg Eastern District Champion Garry Collins. This will be a stiff test for Michael but is the type of bout a fighter of Michael caliber should be fighting.

26th Jan 2007 - Two convincing wins for Forthside boxers.

Congratulations go to Bob Neilings who not only became the first Forthside amateur fighter to have a bout, he also stepped out of the ring 6 minutes later as Forthside's first winner. Fighting at light heavyweight Bob out pointed Clovenstone's Andy Leask showing excellent ring skills in what was his debut fight. Keeping up Forthside's winning streak was Michael Blackburn who won a comfortable welterweight bout against Dunfermline's Graham Barr.

April 2007 - Forthside Boxing Show featuring at least 8 amateur fights.

August 2006 - Forthside Boxing is officially opened by Commonwealth welterweight champion Kevin Anderson.
